At IM=X® Pilates Shoreline, our focus is on providing you with the most immediate results possible in a professional and relaxing environment. We are not a fad or gimmick program but rather offer reasonable expectations that come from commitment coupled with excellent workout routines.
IM=X® Pilates workouts are extremely efficient in that you do not have to change machines as with weight training. There is no time wasted in an IM=X® Pilates training session because the instructor helps you reconfigure your Xercizer (reformer) in a matter of seconds and then keeps you moving!
IM=X® PILATES CLASSES
IM=X® Basic/Intermediate Xercizer — Whether you are a beginner or you have mastered the IM=X basics, this class is designed to challenge each individual based on their personal fitness level and goals.
IM=X® Intermediate/Advanced Xercizer — IM=X® Intermediate/ Advanced takes the basics to a higher intensity by increasing sets, reps and adding a variety of challenging moves.
Private or Duet Training on IM=X® Xercizer — An hour-long Xercizer session customized to address the specific needs and goals of one or two people.
IM=X® Cycle/Tower (sneakers required) — Rather than a typical ride, this unique workout keeps you focused on posture, balance, stabilization, and upper body strengthening! This program is for those who want an intense cardio workout. Be prepared to sweat!
IM=X® Jump Interval (advanced) — This is an advanced class and is specifically designed to burn calories and boost your metabolism! Be prepared to sweat and have fun! You will experience intervals of high intensity jumping followed by shorter recovery periods consisting of upper body and lower body sculpting. Interval exercise is the most effective way to reach your fitness goals!
IM=X® Bootcamp Xercizer — Definitely the hardest session you can take. This class keeps the heart rate up while demanding strength and endurance. You will sweat your way through sequences which are organized to challenge every muscle group repeatedly. Fatigue is guaranteed! (60/75 minutes)
IM=X® Pilates Floor — Our signature and very popular pilates floor workout will strengthen and stretch every muscle group using the IM=X® Ring and Body Bar. Your trainer will guide you through IM=X Floor sequences which start with hips and legs, progress to abs and back, move on to shoulders and arms, rest for some stretches and finish with more hips, butt and abs. This is an intense total body workout all done on the mat.
IM=X® Pilates Advanced Floor — Our signature and very popular pilates floor workout will strengthen and stretch every muscle group using the IM=X® Ring and Body Bar. Your trainer will guide you through IM=X® Floor sequences which start with hips and legs, progress to abs and back, move on to shoulders and arms, rest for some stretches and finish with more hips, butt and abs. This is an intense total body workout all done on the mat and is for people who take the floor class on a regular basis.
SPECIALTY CLASSES
80's Hi/Lo Combo — Get out your legwarmers and get ready to burn calories! This old school floor aerobics workout will bring you back to the 80's with great music and routines that will bring you back to when cardio was king!
Cardio Kickboxing with Wavemaster (gloves or handwraps required) — This class will give amazing shape to your legs, glutes, arms, abs and core using The Wavemaster - a freestanding kickboxing bag that will take you to the next level in fitness. This is a fun, sweat producing, stress relieving full body workout! GLOVES AND/OR HANDWRAPS ARE REQUIRED; PLEASE BRING TO CLASS.
Freestyle Step — Step aerobics burns 30-60% more calories than traditional aerobics with particular emphasis on hips, thighs, abs and glutes. Energetic music and motivating instructors create a great workout that will have you coming back for more!
Xtreme Spin — A 60-minute spinning class dispersed with strength intervals off of the bike using body weight exercises and hand weights.
Zumba — The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. You will receive long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
One-on-One Personal Training — One-on-one training with a fitness professional who will customize a program to meet your specific needs and goals.
Small Group Personal Training — 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks (12 sessions in all) in a bootcamp atmosphere. Call for our next session start date.
